Our Story

We started in 2013 with one rule that still runs the company: tell the homeowner the truth, then do exactly what you said you would do.

Most of what frustrates homeowners about remodeling has nothing to do with tile or cabinetry. It is the vague estimate, the crew that disappears for a week, the change order nobody explained. We built Custom Edge to remove those problems from the job, not to talk around them.

That means a written scope and a real price range on day one. A schedule you can see. Adjacent finished surfaces protected before demolition begins. One point of contact from the first walkthrough to the final punch list, and a builder who answers the phone after the job is done.

Meet The Builder

Tim has worked in Metro Detroit homes for over a decade, first in the trades and then running his own crews. He still walks every project himself, writes every scope, and handles the permits with the city so you are not chasing paperwork.

Adjacent finished surfaces get covered before demolition begins. Dust containment, floor protection, and a clean site at the end of every day.

Waterproofing, framing, and mechanicals done properly behind the finish, because the parts you cannot see are what decide how long the work lasts.
